NTB International Ltd. is aims to be compliant to the following policy

i) The suppliers are required to develop systematic management process for delivering compliance to this code and will be needed to maintain data demonstrating compliance. It will be a responsibility of any single person from the higher management to ascertain compliance with the code. 

ii) This will be suppliers responsibility to communicate the requirements of this code with all employees, suppliers , out workers or sub-contractors who involve in their supply chain and ensure that it should followed.

iii) All applicable Laws prevailing in the respective countries wherever they are working shall be comply by the suppliers and wherever the standard provides the greater protection of the worker will followed.

i) Children under the age of 12 years shall not be employed or recruited.

ii) Children and young people under the age of 18 shall not be forced to work throughout the night or under any unfair conditions. Children must not be exploited, and their health, safety and education must be protected by the employers.

iii) If any child or young people are found working for any supplier, the supplier involved will be expected to cease the practice and provide remediation for the children or young people concerned, including support for the child to attend and remain in quality education until no longer a child.

i)  No forced, bonded or involuntary labour of any description will be permissible.

ii) Suppliers shall allow their employees to leave after giving reasonable notice.

iii)  Provided it is a legal issue, no workers will be required to lodge deposits or Id papers. Once detained from the company, the documents must be returned.

i) All preventive measure should be taken to ensure healthy and Hygienic environment and all necessary steps to be taken to avoid accidents and injury during the work.

ii) Suppliers are required to appoint someone as a management representative to after the issue of health and safety of employees.

iii) Appropriate safety training and supervision shall be must to the worker before appointment. Records of safety training must be available for inspection.

iv) Suppliers shall provide essential items of climatically appropriate protective clothing and safety equipment free to their workers.

v) Workers shall be provided hygienic drinking water and clean toilets.

vi) Where provided, accommodations shall be safe, clean and meet the basic needs of workers.

vii) Food, beverages and domestic goods offered for sale to workers shall be at reasonable level


i) Any sort of physical or verbal abuse, sexual or other harassment or any other disciplinary issue is not acceptable.

ii) All disciplinary and grievance procedures shall be clearly documented and communicated to all workers. All disciplinary measures of a serious nature shall be recorded.

i)  Suppliers shall respect the workers right to join any associations or workers councils, trade unions and workers associations, which can represent their interests. The Employers will not have any interference in this.

ii) Suppliers should facilitate the development parallel means of independent and free association and bargaining.

iii) Suppliers must share with their employee’s views and comments, which will affect working conditions.


i)  The working hours. for the workers shall not be exceed more than 48 hrs. per week provided there is any further lower national limit. 

ii) Overtime of 12 hrs. per week shall be allowed if not requested on a regular basis and will be paid for it.



i)  Workers shall not be forced to perform duties incompatible with their physical or mental abilities. 

ii) There shall not be any discrimination in hiring, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination or retirement based on (but not limited to) gender, age, disability, national origin, race, marital status, sexual orientation, political opinion, union (or non-union) membership, religion, or caste.

i)  No deductions from wages, other than those required by national law, shall be permitted without the express agreement of the worker concerned. Deduction from wages for disciplinary purposes shall not be permitted. 

ii) Benefits and wages shall be at least fully comparable with local industry norms or national legal requirements, whichever is higher. Wages shall always be sufficient for basic needs.

iii)  Before entering into employment, workers should be informed about the payment process. Wages shall be paid directly to the workers in the form of cash or cheques or into the workers' nominated bank account.



i)  All workers must be provided with simple, written contracts, which must detail the terms and conditions of their employment.

ii) Employers shall encourage workers to participate in all state benefit schemes, especially sickness, injury, and retirement pensions. 

iii) Employers must not employ workers on repeated temporary contracts or apprenticeship schemes merely to avoid paying wages and other benefits given to permanent workers.


i) Suppliers shall make practical efforts to minimize the use and save of energy, water and raw materials: where possible these resources shall be renewable.

ii) Suppliers shall make practical efforts to minimize waste and dispose it in a safe, efficient, and environment friendly manner.

iii) Suppliers shall avoid contamination of the local environment and ensure that air, noise and odour pollution is within nationally defined limits.

iv) Suppliers shall seek to make continuous improvements in their environmental performance with the requirements of international and local rule and regulations
